Location: Launceston, Tasmania
Employment type: Casual, with a path to full time
Pay: Competitive rates based on experience
We're looking for a practical, hands-on all-rounder to look after our grounds and equipment and keep the farm running smoothly. Your main focus will be farm and facilities maintenance, but no two weeks will look the same. When things get busy, especially at harvest, you'll lend a hand across cultivation, production and the lab. If you like variety, enjoy learning new things and want to grow with a business, this is a great place to do it.
What you'll do
- Maintain the grounds and keep the farm tidy, safe and working well
- Keep the telehandler and other farm equipment in good working order
- Help with harvest, cultivation, production and lab tasks as needed
- Move between tasks and teams as the workload shifts through the season
- Follow our safety, quality and security procedures
What we offer
- Casual to start, with the opportunity to move into a full-time permanent role
- Room to grow your skills and your role as we grow
- Real variety and training across different parts of the business
- A supportive, down-to-earth team
- Working outdoors on a certified organic, regenerative farm
What we're looking for
- Practical maintenance or farm experience (or a robust handy streak)
- Willingness to learn tasks you haven't done before
- Good communication, a friendly attitude and comfort working in a team or on your own
- Reliable, with a long-term mindset
Nice to have
- Forklift or telehandler licence
- Experience in horticulture, agriculture or a regulated workplace
