Immediate Start | 38 Hours Per Week | Ongoing Work Haymond Personnel is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Farm Hands to join our client's bird farming operation.
This is a hands-on role working with small birds, offering consistent hours and an immediate start for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Feeding and watering birds, ensuring their daily care and wellbeing.
- Cleaning and maintaining bird enclosures, cages and surrounding areas.
- General farm cleaning, washing and sanitation duties.
- Safely handling and managing live birds.
- Handling and disposing of deceased birds when required, following workplace procedures.
- Assisting with general farm maintenance and daily operations.
- Following animal welfare, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Must be available to work 38 hours per week.
- Comfortable working with live birds and handling deceased animals when required.
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual tasks.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a farm environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or within a team.
- Previous farm or animal handling experience advantageous but not essential.
- Full Australian working rights.
