Local horticulture farms in the Mid-Murray and Sunraysia VIC region predominately in the Robinvale and surrounding towns require 150 labourers for pre-harvest labouring and the up coming Harvest season 2027. Duties include but not limited to the planting, picking, pruning and general farm labour on Almond, citrus and other fruit and nut properties. These positions will involve tasks such as nut harvesting, fruit picking, pegging and un-pegging dripper lines, general irrigation labour, general block detailing and sanitation, tree stake removal, removal of tree guards, tree pruning, weed spraying and removal, harvest machine operations and other tasks as required.
Training provided and potential to upskill on the job.
Work is expected to commence early to middle of January 2027 and is expected to last up to 9 months. Work will be paid at piece rates and hourly rates depending on the work duties. The applicable award is the Horticulture Award 2020. Hours of work can vary, a typical day would be approximately 7:00am to 3:00pm.

SELECTION CRITERIA: You must be fit and healthy with good stamina and ability to hold and lift heavily loads and work on ladders in accordance with WHS requirements.
Ability to work in all weather conditions including early morning starts in frost conditions. Ability to follow instructions and learn and apply recent processes quickly.
Good hand and eye coordination. Ability to stand and walk on feet for long periods of time. Ability to bend frequently to tend to ground level tasks. Availability to work Monday to Saturday. Commitment to this position must be for the full term of employment.
Applicants living outside of Mid-Murry and Sunraysia VIC regions must demonstrate a commitment to relocating if required for the duration of the employment up to 9 months.
