We have been engaged to appoint an experienced Finance Director to a large and sophisticated organisation entering an important phase of growth, investment and transformation.

The position offers genuine breadth across financial leadership, commercial decision-making, funding and transformation, with considerable exposure to senior executives and the Board. It will appeal to a finance leader accustomed to operating within complex, capital-intensive environments and leading teams through growth and change.

The Role

- Act as a trusted adviser to the CFO, executive leadership team and Board on financial performance, risk, investment and strategic priorities.

- Provide leadership across financial control, FP&A;, treasury, funding, accounting standards, audit and governance.

- Oversee capital and funding requirements, including debt, liquidity, investment and capital allocation.

- Support major investment and development decisions through robust financial analysis, modelling and commercial insight.

- Shape and deliver the finance transformation agenda, modernising systems, processes and reporting capabilities.

- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, data and AI to improve efficiency, controls and decision-making.

- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while creating clear accountability across the function.

- Maintain strong relationships with key financial, audit and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

We are particularly interested in senior finance leaders who have operated within large, complex organisations, bringing experience across sophisticated financial, commercial and capital environments.

You will be accustomed to managing complexity, supporting significant investment and strategic decisions, and providing trusted financial leadership to senior executives and Boards. Experience across asset-based, development, property, healthcare, aged care,

purpose-led or similarly complex environments would be highly regarded.

You will likely bring:

- CA qualification or equivalent, with strong foundations in financial control, audit and technical accounting, ideally gained within Big 4, Top 20 or a similarly rigorous environment.

- Experience within asset-intensive, development, property, healthcare, aged care, purpose-led or similarly complex environments would be highly regarded.

- Significant senior finance leadership experience with responsibility for a broad, end-to-end finance function within a large or complex organisation.

- Strong breadth across commercial finance, FP&A;, financial control, statutory reporting, accounting standards, governance, audit and treasury.

- Experience operating across complex capital and funding environments, with exposure to debt refinancing, structured or asset-backed financing advantageous.

- Proven success leading and developing sizeable finance teams, building capability and driving high performance.

- Solid Board and executive-level exposure, with the credibility to influence commercial and strategic decision-making.

- Demonstrated experience leading change, finance transformation and systems improvement.

- A progressive approach to technology, automation, data and AI, with a focus on improving finance capability and efficiency.

- A collaborative, commercially minded leadership style, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
