Duties will include day to finance tasks, ledger reconciliations, accounts payable and other duties as required in the Finance team.

Previous experience in a Local Government finance team, and a knowledge of Datascape would be highly desirable.

About you

- Demonstrated experience working in a finance office environment, or progress towards a relevant diploma or tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- An understanding of the operations and processes involved in delivering effective financial and management accounting services.
- Advanced IT and administration skills, with a sound understanding of financial software applications.
- Experience in preparing indirect tax records and providing associated financial services.




- The ability to investigate and resolve issues independently, exercise initiative and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex financial services with minimal supervision.
- A strong commitment to achieving high standards, maintaining accuracy and delivering reliable outcomes.
- The ability to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with Shire staff, community members, suppliers, public sector agencies and private organisations.

Location: Margaret River, WA

Employment Type: Continuing, Part-time (60.8 hrs/fortnight)

Salary: IA Level 5 $84,834 to $91,828 - Plus superannuation, career development, and Recreation Centre membership To apply
