Are you an experienced practitioner passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people? Frontline Support Services (FSS) is seeking a dedicated Senior Practitioner to provide practice leadership, guidance and support to our residential care teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical and practice guidance to Case Managers and Youth Workers.

- Support the implementation of trauma-informed, child-centred practices.

- Oversee complex cases and assist with risk assessments and safety planning.

- Mentor and develop staff capability through coaching and reflective practice.

- Monitor care plans, case documentation and compliance with relevant standards.

- Work collaboratively with Child Safety, families and external stakeholders.

- Support incident reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Promote the safety, wellbeing and development of children and young people.

About You

- Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or a related discipline.





- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs.

- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and child protection.

- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and case consultation skills.

- Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and provide sound practice guidance.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience appropriate to the role.

- Current Blue Card/Yellow Card or eligibility to obtain one.

- Current driver's licence.

- Relevant background screening and other employment checks as required.
