About the role

Link-Force Au is seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Carpenter to join our team on a casual basis across various site in Brisbane. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing and installing formwork systems that are essential to construction projects. Your expertise will directly impact project timelines, quality standards, and overall site safety, making this a strategically important position within our operations.

What you'll be doing

- Constructing and installing formwork systems according to engineering specifications and project requirements
- Reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate formwork placement
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other formwork materials to required specifications
- Installing temporary support structures and bracing systems to ensure structural integrity during concrete pouring
- Conducting pre-pour inspections to verify formwork stability and alignment
- Dismantling and removing formwork systems safely after concrete has cured
- Collaborating with other trades and site management to coordinate formwork activities
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area whilst adhering to all site safety protocols
- Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards or defects in formwork installations
- Formwork Carpenter on High Rises around Brisbane
- $60 per hour plus super
- Ongoing Consistent Work

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications




- Competency in using formwork-related tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- A current construction safety induction card (White Card) or equivalent
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance with site regulations
