Your new role In this position, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes, supporting key stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across your area of responsibility. You'll bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in a FOI or similar role

Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Australian legislation, standards and guidelines and experience

Proven ability to research and interpret relevant legislation and draft and implement policies and processes to meet the organisation's needs

Proven experience providing strategic advice,



planning and reporting to senior management

Demonstrated ability to provide high-level advice on privacy and FOI related issues and legislative matters.

Well-developed analytical skills

Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail

Ability to build effective relationships and manage competing priorities

Commitment to delivering exceptional results

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to privacy matters and the discovery and release of documents under the FOI Act, providing briefings to senior officers as required.
