About The Role

As a Frontend Developer, you will design, build, and improve React applications using NABX components and modern frontend practices. You will translate product and user experience requirements into responsive interfaces that align with NAB UI/UX and accessibility standards. Working with backend APIs, including REST and GraphQL, you will help deliver portal functionality and ensure that information is presented accurately and reliably.

You will apply suitable state management patterns, such as Redux or the Context API, and use React hooks and functional components to create clear, reusable solutions. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues to resolve technical challenges, maintain code quality, and deliver dependable user experiences.

Qualifications

Applicants should have professional experience developing frontend applications with React and a sound understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Practical knowledge of React hooks, functional components, and state management approaches such as Redux or Context API is expected.



You should be comfortable integrating frontend applications with backend services through REST and/or GraphQL APIs, handling data flows, and responding to API errors appropriately.

A strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility principles, and user interface implementation is important.

Experience working with NABX components or a comparable design system will be valuable, along with the ability to follow established UI/UX standards. Candidates should understand frontend performance, security, maintainability, and the importance of writing readable, testable code. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues are also essential.

Relevant professional experience or equivalent practical capability is welcome.

Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React and NABX components. Build responsive, accessible interfaces that work effectively across supported devices and screen sizes, following applicable NAB UI/UX and accessibility standards. Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to support portal capabilities, including identity verification, lifecycle workflows, and data retrieval.





Implement appropriate state management patterns and use modern React techniques to support predictable behavior and reusable components.

Contribute to frontend architecture and make implementation decisions that balance user needs, performance, security, and maintainability. Identify and address defects, usability issues, and performance concerns throughout development. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent engineering practices.

Work with relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and deliver features that meet agreed expectations. Keep up to date with React practices and contribute to continuous improvement of the frontend codebase.
