About The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will translate UI/UX wireframes and visual designs into efficient, scalable frontend applications. You will assess the technical feasibility of proposed experiences, coordinate closely with back-end developers, and help ensure that solutions meet functional requirements and quality expectations. Working individually and as part of virtual Agile teams, you will contribute to planning, implementation, testing, and ongoing process improvement.

You will also help evaluate new tools and technologies through technical research and proof-of-concept work.

Qualifications The ideal candidate brings experience delivering frontend software in a collaborative development setting and can turn complex requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.



You should be comfortable working with UI/UX designs, coordinating with back-end developers, and participating in Agile delivery using Scrum sprints, Kanban, or similar approaches. Strong communication skills are important for engaging with business stakeholders, contributing to team discussions, and collaborating effectively in virtual settings.

You should be able to produce clean, efficient, tested, and documented code that can be understood and reused by other developers. A focus on application performance, scalability, and compatibility across platforms and devices is essential. The role also requires sound technical judgment when formulating designs, estimating effort, assessing feasibility, and exploring tools or technologies. A willingness to keep learning and improve development practices is valued.

Experience supporting the recruitment of software engineers is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

Translate UI/UX wireframes and visual designs into responsive, efficient frontend application code. Evaluate the technical feasibility of designs and recommend approaches that support a high-quality user experience. Write, test, and document clean, reusable code, and optimize applications for speed and scalability across platforms and devices.



Coordinate with back-end developers and other team members to integrate frontend work with broader software solutions.

Contribute to technical design, effort estimates, and the evaluation of tools and technologies, including the creation of proof-of-concept models. Deliver software on schedule and within agreed scope, while helping manage requirements and scope through the Agile process. Participate actively in team meetings, planning, and discussions; engage relevant business stakeholders; and support the delivery of solutions to complex requirements.

Follow and improve software development and Agile processes, contribute to a dynamic, customer-focused team, and assist with recruiting software engineering talent when needed.
