The Incentive Lab (part of the Globetrotter family) is seeking a Head of The Incentive Lab to join us on a full time basis, taking ownership of the leadership, commercial performance and growth of our Incentives & Events division based in Melbourne.
This role's oversight spans team leadership, client relationship management, business development and operational delivery. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on, day-to-day ownership of client partnerships, team development and commercial outcomes, working to drive profitable growth across the business.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team within the Incentives & Events division
- Drive operational excellence
- Own the division's P&L; and be accountable for meeting agreed revenue, margin and profit targets
- Build and maintain senior client relationships, strengthening key client and supplier partnerships
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, proactively converting leads into growth
- Manage proposals, tenders and client presentations
- Develop strategic solutions that deliver outstanding client outcomes
- Oversee project delivery, timelines and resource planning for incentive programmes and events
- Champion the culture, values and commitment to service excellence across the team
Qualifications & capabilities:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within the MICE sector
- Previous experience leading and motivating teams
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
- Demonstrated success in business development and client retention
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- Keen organisational and project management capabilities
- A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
