This is a locum doctor role for a General Practice Consultant at Mudgee in NSW.

### Role Info

Qualifications/Experience

GP with 5 years postgraduate experience, including extensive recent experience in emergency medicinecritical care medicine. Demonstrated competency in clinical skills including advanced life support with ability to perform ALS procedures 9must have current ALS Certificate), interpreting patient history, physical examination, pathology, ECG and radiological investigations to diagnose straightforward and complex Emergency Medicine presentations. Must have Emergency, Trauma, Adult & Paediatric Life Support experience and advanced adult and paediatric life support skills.

We have ED FLEC trained nursing staff.

Duties

?

Face-to-face clinical handover with night ED doctor at 1000

?

1000 – 2000 in the Emergency Department, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested.

?

Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.

?

Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.

?

Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.

?

Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results.

Two Bedroom self-contained unit situated on the grounds of the hospital, fenced and entry is by a coded gate. Kitchen, Dining and Living area is combined with a large TV and air-conditioning, Queen size beds and large built in wardrobes in bedrooms and air-conditioning, Fully equipped Kitchen includes Dishwasher, Large Fridge with freezer at top, Microwave, electric stove top and oven, Washing machine and dryer, ironing board and iron in laundry
