The Role

We’re on the lookout for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Perth team.

The role will initially involve a significant fieldwork component, with opportunities for both local work, and travel. The typical duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

- Planning, coordinating and conducting geotechnical investigations including fieldwork and scheduling laboratory testing.

- Conducting field testing techniques and obtaining rock and soil samples for laboratory testing.

- Interpreting geotechnical data gathered during the site investigations,



performing analysis and developing recommendations to prepare geotechnical factual reports.

- Assisting with geotechnical analyses for foundations, slope stability, pavement designs, earthworks and other geo-structures.

- Managing tasks in accordance with relevant technical guidelines, codes, and standards.

- Assisting in managing timelines, budgets, and resources on projects.

- Proactively identifying and reporting opportunities, risks, hazards, incidents, technical deviations, and achievements.

As you progress, you will transition from a primarily field based role into office based analysis, design and reporting across a wide range of building, infrastructure and energy/resource projects.

What We’re Looking For:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.

- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

- License: A full driver’s license is required.

- Experience: Experience in a similar role preferred.
