Jenner & Co Logistics & Supply Chain recruitment is is partnering with one its repeat client's to source their Head of Logistics (DC focus), which can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or potentially Brisbane A rare national role leading a large distribution network for a household name....

Our client is a leading national distributor with a strong market position and a network of major distribution centres across Australia. They're after a Head of to lead the national DC network, reporting into the senior supply chain leadership team.

About the role

- Lead the national DC network, with 6 direct reports across the State DC Managers and Continuous Improvement, and over 1,000 team members across the sites
- Set the operating rhythm, with a strong cadence of checking in with the team, supporting them and keeping momentum
- Drive best practice fundamentals in safety, service, productivity and cost
- Lead CI and capex projects, including new warehouse and national transformation work
- Develop a strong group of State DC Managers and build capability across the network




- Work closely with stakeholders across supply chain, commercial and the wider business

About you

- A solid operational background as a DC or Site Manager, now leading at a multi site or national level
- Proven experience leading CI and capex projects, such as new sites, automation or network transformation
- A people leader who builds trust, holds standards and keeps teams moving
- Hungry and curious, looking for the next step up in your career
- Based on the East Coast, within reach of Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
