About Rosies For almost 40 years, Rosies - Friends on the Street has supported people experiencing homelessness, loneliness and social isolation across Queensland through connection, friendship and community. HeartWorks extends that mission by helping people facing disadvantage build confidence, develop capability and access meaningful employment opportunities.

Following a successful pilot phase, HeartWorks is entering an exciting period of growth and development.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the ongoing growth and success of the HeartWorks employment program.

You'll work across program development, partnerships, operations and funding, helping to create sustainable employment outcomes while expanding the program's reach and long-term impact.

What you’ll be responsible for:

- Leading the strategic growth of the HeartWorks employment program
- Supporting and developing a team of Employment Mentors
- Building strong partnerships with employers and community organisations
- Creating employment opportunities for program participants
- Identifying new funding and growth opportunities
- Overseeing program performance, reporting and compliance
- Supporting strong participant outcomes and continuous improvement

About You

You understand the transformational impact employment can have on an individual's future.

You'll bring

- Experience leading programs, teams or service delivery functions within employment,



education or community services
- Success improving participant, employment or community outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership development skills
- Experience working with employers, industry or community organisations
- The ability to balance strategy, operations and hands-on leadership
- Strong communication, problem-solving and business development capability
