About the Role

Working as part of a small, collaborative and committed team, and reporting to the Chef Manager, the Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant delivers high standards of housekeeping and laundry services.

The role requires dedicating 50% of time to housekeeping duties, delivering high standards of cleaning and care across the House, including interiors, carpets, antique furniture, precious objects, and irreplaceable paintings.

What do you do?

- Sort, wash, dry, press and fold clothing, tablecloths, curtains, bedding and other textile items

- Remove stains from items using appropriate procedures

- Perform minor mending duties

- Maintain an inventory of laundry detergents and sewing supplies

- Liaise with external laundry services as required

- Ensure impeccable cleaning standards are met

- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the laundry room

- Other duties as required

Selection Criteria (Essential)

- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable

- Excellent knowledge of treatment of delicate and specialty fabrics

- Knowledge of stain removal processes
- A friendly, caring disposition with a commitment to quality





- Excellent presentation and communication skills

- Reliable, adaptable and strives to achieve the highest standards in all that you do

- Excellent time management skills and a willingness to go the extra mile

- Able to use initiative and is self-driven with the ability to work in a small but high-performing team
