JHT Property Group, is hiring part time and casual team members for its housekeeping department in Bowen Hills, Queensland.

THE ROLES

Housekeeping Room Attendant

You will prepare guest rooms and apartments to a consistently high standard, ready for each arrival.

- - Clean and service rooms, bathrooms and kitchenettes to brand standards

- - Change linen, make beds and replenish guest supplies

- - Complete your daily room allocation within set timeframes

- - Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly

- - Follow safe work practices, including correct chemical handling and manual lifting

Housekeeping Team Leader

You will lead the room attendants on shift and make sure every room meets our standards before it is released.

- - Allocate rooms and coordinate the team's daily workload

- - Inspect completed rooms and give clear, constructive feedback

- - Train and support recent and existing team members

- - Liaise with reception and maintenance on room status and priorities

- - Monitor linen and supply levels, and step in to service rooms when needed





Houseperson

You will keep the department moving and the property's shared spaces presentable, supporting the room attendants throughout the shift.

- - Deliver linen, amenities and supplies to floors and service areas

- - Remove soiled linen and rubbish from floors

- - Clean corridors, lifts, foyers and other public areas

- - Keep linen stores and housekeeping trolleys stocked and tidy

- - Respond to guest requests and assist with urgent room needs

- - Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

- - Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude

- - Availability across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

- - Good physical fitness, as the work is active and on your feet

- - Conversational English

- - Full working rights in Australia

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or serviced apartment is preferred for room attendants and housepersons, but we will consider motivated applicants who are keen to learn.

Team Leader applicants

- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or serviced apartment, ideally in a supervisory role
- Confidence leading, coaching and motivating a team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
