Your recent company:

Join a large, complex public-sector organisation undertaking a significant digital and cyber security transformation. As part of a major Identity and Access Management (IAM) Foundation Project, the organisation is strengthening identity governance, access controls, privileged access management and authentication capabilities across critical corporate and operational systems.

Your new role:

As the IAM Lead Consultant , you will provide both delivery leadership and specialist IAM expertise across multiple workstreams. Reporting to the IAM Project Manager, you will coordinate project activities, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues while working closely with business, cyber security, technology, operational stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners.

Key responsibilities will include

- Lead delivery across multiple IAM workstreams and support project governance and reporting.
- Provide specialist guidance across Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), access certification and identity lifecycle management.
- Facilitate workshops and help define role models, access profiles, processes and controls.
- Support IAM governance, audit, risk and compliance activities.
- Coordinate vendors, implementation partners and technical delivery teams.
- Develop IAM process documentation, implementation plans,



governance artefacts and operational procedures.
- Support business readiness, knowledge transfer, operational handover, go-live and Hypercare activities.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Significant experience delivering IAM initiatives within large and complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Identity Governance, Access Management, RBAC and identity lifecycle management.
- Proven experience engaging and managing senior stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.
- Experience supporting governance, risk, compliance and audit activities.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
- Exposure to IAM technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta or One Identity will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience within healthcare, government or other highly regulated environments is desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security, ITIL, PMP or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
