NextEra Technologies Pty Ltd As an ICT Business Analyst, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will analyse business requirements, evaluate existing systems and processes, identify opportunities for improvement and support the design and implementation of ICT solutions. The role involves working across the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and analysis through to solution design, testing, implementation and ongoing optimisation.

You will be expected to understand both the business problem and the technology solution, ensuring that proposed systems and improvements are practical, efficient and aligned with organisational objectives.

responsibilities Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and system requirements. Analyse existing business processes, procedures and workflows and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct gap analysis, feasibility assessments and risk assessments.

Develop clear functional and technical specifications for ICT solutions. Prepare process models, workflow diagrams, user requirements and system documentation. Work collaboratively with developers, system architects and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Support system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT),



implementation and deployment activities. Develop and maintain system and user documentation. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops and presentations.

Assist with change management, implementation and preparation of training materials. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for system enhancements and continuous improvement. Support digital transformation initiatives and improvements to business systems.

Ensure proposed ICT solutions comply with relevant organisational policies and regulatory requirements. Qualification &

experience A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a closely related discipline. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience as an ICT Business Analyst, Business Analyst or in a closely related ICT role. Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies. Demonstrated experience preparing functional specifications and system documentation.

Experience with business process modelling and workflow documentation.



Proficiency with process modelling/documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart or equivalent. Robust analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
