Inventory & Logistics Officer (4-month Max Term Contract)

We are looking for an experienced, qualified and engaging Inventory and Logistics Officer to join our Technical Services team for a full time, 4-month maximum term contract based at our Thebarton site in South Australia.

? About the Role

Supporting the Agilex Biolabs analytical facility, you will be responsible for performing duties in accordance with internal quality systems. Key tasks of the role include:

- Perform general laboratory housekeeping ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy.

- Receive and store project critical reagents/reference materials and consumables.

- Log critical reagents/reference materials into controlled database.

- Receive and store control matrix.

- Perform scheduled stock take under direction of the Group Leader - Inventory and Logistics.

- Liaise with laboratory staff and Study Directors to meet client deadlines.

- Perform reference material management duties when relief is required as directed by the Group Leader - Inventory and Logistics.

- Accurate completion of daily records in Monday.com, Business Central or other systems as implemented at Agilex Biolabs.

- Support the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments,



including liaising with couriers and customs/brokerage providers, obtaining freight quotes and maintaining shipment documentation and records.

- Adhere to OECD GLP regulations, Agilex Biolabs guidelines, WHS policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as applicable.

? About You

You're organised, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. You'll bring:

- A Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or equivalent experience (highly desirable).

- Basic knowledge of scientific procedures, laboratory practices and techniques, along with a basic knowledge of laboratory safety requirements.

- Effective time management skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritise and take a proactive and flexible approach to tasks.

- Excellent level of written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite.

- Previous experience supporting shipping, freight, courier or logistics activities, including preparation of shipment documentation and obtaining quotes, would be advantageous.
