ProWay is seeking a motivated and practical individual to join our team as a Junior Area Representative, based at our Wagga Wagga facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about livestock handling and wants to build a long-term career in the livestock equipment industry. Working alongside experienced designers, project managers and sales professionals, you will assist with the design, sale and project management of livestock handling equipment and projects.
About the Role
As a Junior Area Representative, you will develop your knowledge and skills across livestock facility design, sales and project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers to identify their livestock handling requirements
- Working with designers to help develop practical cattle and sheep yard layouts
- Supporting the preparation of quotations, estimates and customer proposals
- Building solid product knowledge across ProWay's livestock equipment range
- Assisting with the sale of livestock handling equipment and complete project solutions
- Working with project managers to coordinate projects from initial enquiry through to delivery
- Assisting with marking out livestock handling projects on site, including the use of total stations
- Maintaining customer relationships and following up enquiries
- Travelling to customer properties and project sites as require
About You To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a genuine passion for livestock handling and the rural industry
- Preferably have demonstrated experience handling both cattle and sheep
- Be confident communicating with customers, designers, project managers and internal teams
- Be practical, well organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Have good computer skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Be able and willing to travel for customer meetings, site visits and projects
- Be reliable, professional and team-oriented
Experience using CAD software would be an advantage. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, practical livestock knowledge, work ethic and a strong desire to develop their career with ProWay.
