The Laboratory

Technician (Science) provides excellent laboratory and classroom preparation and support for classes across Years Pre-K to 12. You will have the opportunity to work in a team of dedicated and passionate Science Teachers and Technicians, working within our award winning, state-of-the-art Mildred Manning Science Centre. This facility comprises agile,



multi-disciplinary learning spaces, which are adaptable to meet students’ needs.

Our preferred candidate will have:

- certification in Laboratory Practices or equivalent experience;
- experience preferably in school science laboratories, or other educational / industrial laboratories;
- well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise duties and work in an effective manner without close supervision;
- good attention to detail, particularly with regard to experiment preparation;
- demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute as part of a team;
- sound interpersonal and communication skills; and
- sound computer literacy relevant to the position.
