A leading commercial law firm is growing its Construction, Infrastructure & Projects practice in Queensland. The team is large and specialist, and it acts on some of the most significant construction and infrastructure matters in the state and beyond. They are looking for a construction disputes lawyer who wants to build a career with a team that invests in its people.

The Role
- Running construction disputes both during and after project delivery, including adjudications and expert determinations
- Acting on high-value, complex litigation and arbitration
- Preparing advice, evidence and submissions
- Managing litigated matters day to day, including briefing Counsel and technical experts
- Supervising junior lawyers and paralegals (depending on experience)
About You
- 4 years’ PAE, at Associate to Senior Associate level
- Front-end or back-end construction and infrastructure experience is ideal
Not a construction specialist yet? Strong commercial litigators with sound civil procedure skills are encouraged to apply, especially those from mining, resources or energy who want to move into construction long term.
The successful candidate will also have:
- Sharp analytical and technical skills, with close attention to detail
- Strong organisation and the ability to deliver to deadlines in a busy practice
- Excellent communication skills, adapted to each audience
- A collaborative approach, sound judgement and an interest in mentoring others
