JOB PURPOSE: To support the Field Level Supervisor with day to day, on-site job tasks, being an efficient, effective and reliable member of the field crew to lead the job to completion in a protected and timely fashion. Provide guidance, leadership and instruction to laborers.
TASKS (including but not limited to): -Organize and assist in loading and mobilizing equipment and tools into site
-Operate the Internal Cutting Tool (ICT)
-Daily log books/DVIR’s and knowledge of NSC rules and regulations
-Spot equipment on site
-Picker operations – pulling and lifting
-Skid Steer operations
-Caisson Entry
-Remove Pigging Facility from Pipeline Riser
-Taping Pipe
-Stringing Pipe
-Shrinking Sleeves
-Removal/Replacement of PSV's
-Manual Valve Operation
-Bolted/Threaded Connections Install/Remove
-Ditching
-Making ROW
-Ground Excavation with Hand Tools
-Pigging
-Pressure Piping
-Trenching/Excavating
-Confined Space Entry
-Driving picker truck and trailer to and from Jobsite locations
-Trailer hookup, driving and unloading
-Vehicle Operation
-Using Hand/Power Tools &
- Knives
-Grinder User
-Working in Hot &
- Cold Weather
-Working on ice covered locations, or wet/muddy covered locations
