Legal Aid Queensland is looking for organised and client-focused Litigation Support Officers to join our team. This is a great chance for a legal administrator who enjoys variety, works well in a busy environment and wants to support vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders. In this role, you'll help lawyers with the day-to-day administration of case files and play an important part in keeping legal matters moving.

What you'll do

You will:

- manage case file administration, including opening, closing and archiving files, filing and serving documents, transcribing, data entry and searches
- help lawyers prepare correspondence, file notes, affidavits, court documents and subpoenas
- compile briefs for counsel
- manage incoming calls and provide legal information,



referral advice and help with applications and legal documents
- coordinate appointments, calendars, court material and travel bookings
- process grants of aid and related administrative tasks
- assist at court, conferences and with general office administration
- help with front counter duties as required.
