About the Role

Based at our winery in the Riverland, we are seeking a motivated, high-performing Maintenance Electrician to join our site electrical maintenance team.

In this role, you will ensure maximum plant availability across our processing operations by maintaining equipment reliability, executing preventative maintenance schedules, and delivering electrical installation and compliance projects. You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams, particularly during high-demand crush periods.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnostics & Fault-Finding: Perform accurate troubleshooting, live low-voltage testing, and repair of winery plant equipment, motor control centres (MCCs), VSDs, and process control systems.

- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine PM schedules, system inspections, switchboard checks, and electrical tag & testing to reduce unscheduled downtime.

- Installations & Upgrades: Install, test, and commission new electrical machinery and control infrastructure in line with site standards and AS/NZS 3000.

- Schematic Reading: Read, interpret, and assist in maintaining accurate electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

- Safety & Compliance:



Adhere strictly to site isolation (LOTO) procedures, SafeWork SA guidelines, and legislative safety requirements.

- Teamwork: Work collaboratively within the maintenance department to drive continuous operational improvements.

Skills & Qualifications
- Licence: Currently A-Class Electrical Licence (South Australia or recognized equivalent).

- Experience: Industrial electrical maintenance background (food/beverage manufacturing or winery experience is highly regarded, but willing candidates looking to transition are encouraged to apply).

- Technical Skills: Sound diagnostic capabilities with PLCs, SCADA interfaces, VSDs, instrumentation, and control circuitry.

- Compliance & Safety: Current Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) & CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain), along with a strong safety-first mindset.

- Licence & Mobility: Valid Driver’s Licence.
