About the Role

EverHaven Care is seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Male Disability Support Worker to support an 18-year-old male NDIS participant.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, patient, a good communicator, and able to assist the participant with daily activities while promoting independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Living Support: Assist the participant with household chores, cleaning, organising belongings, and maintaining daily routines.
- Task Management: Help the participant plan, organise, and complete everyday tasks.
- Community Access & Transport: Occasionally drive the participant to shopping centres, appointments, recreational activities, and other community locations.
- Shopping Assistance: Accompany the participant on shopping trips, help prepare shopping lists, and assist with purchases.
- Money Management: Support the participant with budgeting, tracking spending, and managing everyday purchases in accordance with their support plan.
- Social & Emotional Support: Engage in friendly conversations, provide companionship, and encourage positive social interactions.




- Independence & Skill Development: Encourage the participant to develop practical life skills and make independent decisions.

Essential Requirements
- Valid Australian driver's licence (mandatory).
- Previous experience in disability support or a similar role is preferred.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient, respectful, and supportive personality.
- Ability to assist with daily living tasks and community participation.
- Willingness to complete progress notes and follow the participant's support plan.
