HR Division Marketing Coordinator Club Italia Sporting Club Social Media | Functions & Events Promotion | Community Partnerships Organisation Club Italia Area Bistro and Events Functions Employment type Part- time Tues-Wed-Thur Hours 10am 5:10pm Applications close Nov 20th About the Role Club Italia Sporting Club is looking for a creative, community-minded Marketing & Functions Development Manager to promote the Bistro and the Club’s Events and social Events spaces to the wider community. You will use your social media expertise to lift awareness, attract bookings from businesses and families, and build lasting alliances with local businesses and schools so that the resources at Club Italia are well used and valued.
Key Responsibilities Promote the Bistro and Club Italia to the wider community through compelling campaigns across social media, email, print and local media. Grow function bookings by promoting Club Italia as a venue for celebrations, including birthdays, engagements, milestone events and family gatherings. Engage local businesses to host corporate celebrations, end-of-year functions, client events and team gatherings at the Club.
Work with schools to promote Club Italia as a venue for school social functions such as formals, graduations, fundraisers and community events. Form strategic alliances with businesses, schools and community groups to make full use of the Club’s facilities and resources. Manage social media channels , including content planning, photography and video, community engagement, paid promotion and performance reporting.
Develop function packages and promotions in collaboration with the Bistro and Club management team. Track results such as enquiries, bookings and engagement, and report regularly to management with recommendations.
About You Essential
Demonstrated experience in marketing, events or function development, ideally in hospitality, clubs or community organisations. Proven social media experience, including content creation and managing Facebook,
Instagram and other platforms. Strong relationship-building skills, with confidence approaching businesses, schools and community groups. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Desirable
Knowledge of, or connection to, the Italian-Australian community and local business networks.
Experience with graphic design tools, photography or video editing.
Experience with paid social advertising and analytics. Willingness to work some evenings and weekends for events.
