Whitehorse Medical Centre and Hartwell Medical are privately owned, accredited, multidisciplinary, private billing general practices located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

We are seeking confident, self-motivated Medical Receptionists to join our administration team. Our administration team supports both Whitehorse Medical Centre and Hartwell Medical (opening mid January), and successful applicants may be based at either clinic or work across both locations depending on business needs and operational requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive, and hardworking team in a secure, well-established long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing professional and welcoming service to patients attending the clinic

- Managing bookings, scheduling appointments, and processing patient accounts, including Medicare billing

- Handling incoming patient and stakeholder phone calls, emails, and faxes

- Opening and closing the clinic

- Providing administrative support to the clinical team as required

About You

Our ideal candidate will

- Have experience using Best Practice software (highly regarded but not essential)

- Enjoy working in a front-line customer service role and take pride in delivering an excellent patient experience





- Flexible and willing to work across both Whitehorse Medical Centre and Hartwell Medical as required.

· Able to provide cover for team members and work additional hours when required.

· Be confident, friendly, reliable, and professional

- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Have previous healthcare administration experience (preferred but not essential)

Hours

These are part-time positions working different shifts between 8.15am and 7pm weekdays, plus a Saturday shift every 4-6 weeks once fully trained.

The successful applicant must be available to work evening shifts as required. Our clinics operate:

- Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 7:00pm

- Saturday: 8:30am to 1:00pm
