Mobile Plant Operators

ATC Work Smart is currently seeking 2 experienced Mobile Plant Operators for an immediate start with a valued client at a Silica sand mine located approximately 35 minutes from Albany.

This is a hands-on operational role suited to experienced plant operators who are confident operating Komatsu front end loaders and articulated dump trucks and bring a strong focus on safety, teamwork and meeting production targets.

About the role:

This role is for a period of three months. Working as part of the site operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant while supporting production activities across the site.

Roster: Monday to Thursday, 12-hour shifts with weekends off, followed by four night shifts and another weekend off.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Operating a Komatsu WA480-6 Front End Loader

- Operating a Komatsu HM400 40-ton Articulated Dump Truck/Moxy

- Loading the ROM hopper

- Loading road trains to weight using the Loadrite weighing system

- Managing product stockpiles and water recovery

- Completing pre-start checks, refuelling and minor servicing

- Identifying and reporting equipment faults, hazards and maintenance requirements

- Supporting the Site Supervisor and Mine Manager to achieve production targets

- Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and environmental requirements

About you

We are looking for experienced operators who are safety focused, reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful, you will have:





- Previous experience operating earthmoving and mobile plant equipment

- Minimum 1 year experience operating a Komatsu WA480-6 Front End Loader, or comparable experience

- Experience operating a Komatsu HM400 40-ton Articulated Dump Truck, or similar

- Accredited Loader Ticket

- Articulated Dump Truck Ticket

- Current WA Driver's Licence and reliable transport

- Strong safety awareness and commitment to site procedures

- Good communication and time management skills
- A positive attitude and solid work ethic
- A HR Driver's Licence and a mobile or fixed plant trade background will be highly regarded.
