Service Leadership An established organisation within the industrial equipment sector is seeking an experienced National Service Manager to lead and develop its national service operations.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a strong technical background and proven experience managing service teams, customer relationships and operational performance across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage national field service operations and technical service teams.
- Oversee equipment servicing, maintenance, repairs and technical support.
- Develop service strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage service scheduling, workforce allocation and resource planning.
- Monitor service performance, budgets, costs and operational KPIs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers.
- Lead, mentor and develop service managers, technicians and field personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, profitability and operational capability.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and relevant industry standards.
About You
- Proven experience in a National Service Manager, Service Operations Manager or similar senior role.
- Background within industrial equipment, machinery, engineering or technical service environments.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed field service teams.
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, repairs and technical support.
- Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication and customer relationship skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive service improvements and business growth.
