About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing staff and ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
You will play an important role in overseeing workflow from initial customer enquiry and quoting through to scheduling, installation and job completion.
- Manage and support glazing teams and administration staff
- Ordering materials & liaising with suppliers
- Monitor job progress, productivity and operational performance
- Maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial and trade customers
- Managing customer enquiries, quotations and job follow-ups
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and profitability
- Assist with recruitment, staff development and performance management
- Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
- Identify new business opportunities and support continued business growth
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an operations or management role
- Has strong leadership and people management skills
- Is highly organised and can manage competing priorities
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is commercially minded with an understanding of business performance
- Can confidently coordinate teams, jobs and daily workflow
- Is proactive, reliable and comfortable working independently
- Has strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience within the glazing, construction, building or trades industry will be highly regarded
