Toilet paper is free in every bathroom. Period products aren't.

3 in 5 Australian women have used tissues, toilet paper or socks because the product they needed wasn't there when they needed it. Not because it's expensive. Because nobody built the infrastructure to put it in front of her.

At the same time, brands are spending more than ever to reach women, with worse results every year. $1 trillion a year on ads. Falling attention. Falling trust. Women control roughly 85% of household spending and most of that money is chasing them through channels they've learned to ignore.

Two broken markets. Nobody had connected them.

We did.

The role

Pip's Helpers are our in-house field team: the people who keep every machine stocked, working and ready to use.

You're joining ON THE HOUSE as a Field Ops Team Member — but you're also something more than that. You're part of the founding group of what we're calling our Pip’s Helpers: a small, hand-picked team of people who keep our fleet of free period product vending machines running.

It's real, meaningful work that directly keeps free period products in the hands of people who need them.

This community is about more than the tasks. We're building Pips Helpers as a long-term home for people who need flexible, purposeful work — uni students looking for flexible work and experience, women returning to work after having a baby and needing hours that fit around life, women re-entering the workforce after a career break who need a way back in. You're the first, but you won’t be the last. As ON THE HOUSE grows, this community grows with it.





You'll be a casual employee with a few weekly shifts between 4-8 hours, a confident driver, a positive communicator, and able to work to a route plan without supervision.

No experience needed. We'll teach you everything, with paid on-the-job training alongside an experienced Pip's Helper and short how-to videos. Once you're out on your own, our team is a phone call away during every shift.

What you'll do

Your shifts are made up of asks, all assigned through the Pip's Helper system.

- Restocking Top up period products when a machine runs low or is due, check it's clean and working, and photograph it before and after.
- Fault fixes Performing simple part swaps inside the machine. Our central tech team talks you through anything new by phone, and all jobs come with step-by-step videos.
- Site visits Assist us with quick videos for a new site to get details ahead of installation.

Along the way you'll also:
- Collect the stock and parts for your shift from your city's storage location
- Log every visit, fix and part used in the system, so we always know the state of each machine
- Keep venues happy by being friendly, tidy and on time, and flag anything that looks off
- Share what you learn on the ground.



You'll help shape how this team works as it grows
- Occasionally, other odd jobs

Who we're looking for You don't need any trade or technical background. You do need:

- A full driver's licence, a reliable car and current car insurance
- A smartphone, and to be strong technical acumen using apps and following video instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Weekday availability for a minimum of 2 four-hour shifts a week
- To be reliable and organised, and happy working on your own most of the time
- To be comfortable working in women's and all-gender bathrooms during venue hours
- A friendly, professional manner

Nice to have: you're handy, enjoy figuring out how things work, and believe in the mission. What's in it for you
