AFL NSW/ACT is the governing body responsible for the development and growth of Australian Rules Football across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The Role on Offer

This role provides an entry pathway for a developing professional to build practical experience in community sport delivery, stakeholder engagement and workforce operations across NSW/ACT. Working closely with the Participation and Programs team, the successful candidate will support the delivery and coordination of AFL programs across Greater Sydney. The role combines supervised program delivery, administration and professional development, and is suited to someone who demonstrates initiative, solid interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technology and systems.

This position will commence at the beginning 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of AFL participation programs, including NAB AFL Auskick and AFL Superkick, across schools and community venues.
- Assist with program bookings, coordination and delivery while promoting AFL participation pathways.




- Build positive relationships with schools, teachers, participants, parents and community stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of community Auskick and Superkick centres within the region.
- Work collaboratively with the Participation and Programs team to create positive participant experiences.
- Assist with administration and other duties as required to support program outcomes.

What We’re Looking For We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and a genuine passion for working with children and young people. You will be reliable, motivated and able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to creating inclusive and engaging experiences are essential.

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a NSW Working with Children Check, hold at least a P1 Driver's Licence with access to a vehicle, and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends. Experience working or volunteering with children through sport, education, recreation or community programs will be highly regarded.
