About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team, providing essential care to clients with spinal cord injuries in the Ipswich and Laidley areas. This is a casual role offering a fixed fortnightly roster, providing predictability and work-life balance. You'll play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently and maintain their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care, including full body showers.
- Support clients with bowel therapy routines.
- Assist with light domestic duties and meal preparation.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification) is highly regarded.
- Experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries is advantageous,
but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and undertake specialised training, particularly in bowel therapy.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card) (or willingness to obtain).
