Plant Assistant

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

- Minimum Grade 12
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Be literate and functionally numerate.
- Pre employment medical required
- Able to meet Occupational Health programs on minimum standards of fitness to perform a work at a Readymix Plant.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

- Ensure that the plant is cleaned regularly and as when required.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks on and around the plant.
- Assist operators.
- Assist with batching.
- Stacking and any other manual work that may or may not involve use of basic tools.
- Make test cubes and conduct slump.
- Report all safety hazards, accidents, and incidents to your manager.
- Carry out other instructions given by your superior




- Report any general elementary problems to his/her immediate supervisor.
- Adhere to all SHE rules and regulations that are applicable on the site.
- Acknowledge that Management reserves the right to allocate additional tasks when for wherever reason the task cannot be completed on standard allocated job.
- Be willing to work overtime and weekends as and when required.
- Must be able to work in a rapid paced and dynamic environment.
