About the Company

Our client is a WA-owned and operated Tier 2 commercial builder with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Western Australia. Established for over 20 years and backed by a larger national group, they have built a strong reputation across apartments, commercial offices, schools, aged care, retail, mixed-use developments and large-scale government projects.

Their portfolio typically ranges from $20M–$300M, with a strong pipeline of secured work well into the future.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join their team on a $50M social housing apartment development north of the river.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of the project's structural and precast packages during the initial stages, before supporting the wider delivery of the development through to completion.

You will work alongside an experienced project team comprising a Project Manager, Senior Site Manager, Site Manager, Contract Administrators and Cadet.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage structural and precast construction packages
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Monitor construction progress, quality and programme




- Review drawings and resolve technical construction issues
- Manage RFIs, shop drawings and engineering documentation
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Support procurement and project planning activities
- Work closely with the wider delivery team to achieve project milestones

About You:

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within commercial construction
- Strong structural construction experience
- Previous precast experience will be highly regarded
- Experience delivering commercial projects valued at $30M
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team
- Full Australian work rights are required
