Deco Contracts Pty Ltd DECO CONTRACTS PTY LTD JOB VACANCY – SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR Company: Deco Contracts Pty Ltd Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary: AUD $90,000 – $110,000 per annum (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Perth 6000 About the Role Deco Contracts Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective cost management, contract administration and financial control.
Key Responsibilities Manage project budgets, cost planning and cost control. Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Manage tendering, procurement and subcontractor evaluations. Prepare progress claims, payment certificates and variation claims.
Assess and negotiate contractual claims. Monitor project expenditure and cash flow. Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts. Identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams.
Provide guidance and supervision to junior quantity surveying staff.
Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant construction industry experience.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration. Excellent cost management and commercial negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software. Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
