About the role





As an RN or EN working in residential aged care, you'll play an important role in delivering protected, compassionate and person-centred care to residents. Depending on your registration and scope of practice, your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering high-quality nursing care that promotes residents' health, dignity and independence.
- Monitoring residents' health, identifying changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with your scope of practice and facility procedures.
- Completing clinical assessments, care planning and accurate documentation.
- Supporting residents with complex health needs and ongoing clinical requirements.
- Working collaboratively with care staff, families and other healthcare professionals.
- Contributing to a positive, safe and supportive environment for residents.

About you

We're looking for nurses who are confident in their clinical abilities, reliable and passionate about delivering quality care to older Australians. To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous experience working in residential aged care.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.




- Excellent documentation and time management skills.
- A compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach.
- The flexibility to work across a range of shifts and facilities.

Essential requirements

All applicants must hold the relevant qualifications and current documentation for their position:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- Relevant nursing qualification.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Evidence of current influenza vaccination.
- Full Australian working rights.
