ASA Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Nurse to join our team on a fulltime, FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in a remote healthcare setting in Queensland. As a Remote Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering essential health services in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care including assessment, monitoring and treatment in a remote healthcare facility
- Administering medications under clinical protocols
- Managing wound care, dressings and management of medical conditions
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborating with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
- Identifying and responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Supporting infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe healthcare environment
- Providing health education
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) (AHPRA)
- Relevant qualifications in nursing, Bachelor of Nursing or equiv
- At least 2 years' post-registration experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Ability to adapt and remain adaptable in a remote healthcare environment
- Willingness to work on a FIFO roster and flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- High level of professionalism, compassion and patient-centred care approach
- Experience working in remote or rural healthcare settings would be advantageous
- Current Australian driver's licence
