Role Description<

This part-time on-site Repairer role is based in Forster, NSW and involves hands-on property maintenance and repair work across commercial and residential sites. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, performing general carpentry and basic repairs, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and presentable. The Repairer will respond to work orders, carry out scheduled maintenance,



and document completed tasks clearly and accurately.

The role also includes communicating with clients and team members, maintaining tools and equipment, and following workplace health and safety procedures. Flexibility to travel to nearby locations within the Mid North Coast region may be required.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in property maintenance, including basic carpentry, general repairs, and use of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess repair requirements and recommend practical solutions.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices and commitment to safe working conditions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and supervisors in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and complete tasks to a high standard with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport to attend jobs across Forster and surrounding areas.
- Experience in maintenance, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in commercial facilities, disability accommodation, or preventative maintenance programs is beneficial.
