Restoration Technician

Steamatic Central West | Full-time | Orange NSW | $33 to $40 per hour

Steamatic Central West is a close-knit restoration team based in Orange, servicing homes and businesses right across the Central West. When a property is hit by water, fire, storm or mould, we're the people who arrive, take charge and put things right, often on one of the hardest days our customers have faced. The work is hands-on and demanding. It's also deeply rewarding, and we enjoy doing it together, travelling the region as a team.

What you'll do

- Respond to property emergencies including water, fire, storm and mould damage
- Extract water, install drying equipment and monitor properties through to completion
- Carry out mould remediation, from inspection and containment to final clearance
- Clean and restore homes and businesses so people can get back to normal
- Be a calm, professional and friendly presence for customers when they need it most
- Keep accurate records so clients and insurers are always up to date

What you'll need

- A current driver's licence (you'll be on the road daily)
- Willingness to join our on-call roster for after-hours emergencies
- Comfort with hands-on,



physical work in all conditions
- Availability to travel across the Central West, sometimes overnight
- A Working With Children Check (you'll be required to get this once you start)
- A National Police Check (you'll be required to get this once you start, dated within the last 3 months)

No experience? That's fine.

We provide structured training, including IICRC industry training, hands-on mentoring and increasing responsibility as you develop. We can teach the skills. Attitude is up to you.
