Road Worker – MR Licence | Deniliquin NSW The Role

- Location: Deniliquin, NSW
- Start Date: ASAP, subject to pre-employment checks
- End Date: 18 December 2026, with potential extension following the Christmas break
- Pay Rate: $45.45 per hour + Super
- Hours: 8.5 hours per day | 76 hours per fortnight
- Work Structure: 9-day fortnight

About the Role

As a Road Worker, you will assist with the construction, repair and maintenance of road infrastructure, working both independently and as part of a team under the direction of the Team Leader.

This is a hands-on position involving a variety of physical tasks, the operation of tools and equipment, and general road maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities

- Undertake routine road maintenance and construction activities.
- Perform road pavement repairs, pothole patching and shoulder maintenance.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of guardrails, road signs and guideposts.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Participate in traffic control activities as required.
- Assist with general site maintenance, rubbish collection and roadside clean-ups.




- Attend call-outs and support road maintenance operations as directed.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and Team Leader instructions.

Essential Requirements

- Current White Card (Construction Induction).
- Workers on Foot (WOF) accreditation.
- Current MR Driver's Licence or higher.
- Traffic Control (TC) accreditation or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work.
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.

Desirable Experience

- Previous experience in road maintenance, roadworks or civil construction.
- Experience operating road maintenance equipment and machinery.
- Experience working within road maintenance crews.

Previous roadworks or civil construction experience is preferred but not essential. How to Apply
