Farmcraft, South East Queensland's largest independently owned group of rural merchandise stores, has been operating in SE Queensland since 1992.

An prospect has arisen for a casual Rural Merchandise Salesperson to join our team. You will deal with a diverse customer base including primary producers, equine enthusiasts, pet owners, fencing contractors, home gardeners, and lifestyle block owners.

The successful applicant will be expected to take a full and active part in many areas of the store including sales, merchandising, order picking & packing, order processing, stocktaking, and loading & unloading stock. A forklift licence (or ability to obtain one) will be well regarded.

We're ideally looking for someone for 2 weekdays on a regular basis with additional days as required, plus some rostered Saturday morning shifts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide outstanding customer service for in-store sales, and via phone & email
- Pick & pack customer orders accurately & in a timely manner




- Ensuring goods are loaded / unloaded / receipted & displayed correctly
- Support customer order deliveries & stock management processes
- Manual handling, including lifting of up to 25 kgs

Ideally the successful applicant will possess:

- Previous experience working in a similar role involving retail sales and customer service
- Product knowledge of rural merchandise products - Stock Feeds, Agricultural Chemicals, Animal Health, Horticulture & Fencing
- Attention to detail with ability to prioritise and execute tasks
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team
- Well presented, punctual, reliable and have an excellent work ethic

- Computer literacy skills
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Forklift licence (or willingness & ability to obtain one)
