What are we looking for?

Access Group Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor (S3/3IC) for a large retail precinct in Kotara, NSW. Our preferred candidate will come with considerable security and leadership experience. The Security Supervisor will be working in partnership with the Security Manager and other supervisors to cultivate a motivated and competent team of professional security officers to deliver on the strategic goals of the Centre and provide a protected environment for its patrons.

The ideal candidate will be working a variety of shifts, afternoon/day to provide supervisory coverage for the team, providing leadership for a highly trained, customer focused team.

About the role

Essential to the role:

- To apply for this position, applicants must hold a current NSW Security License and current First Aid Certificate.

- You must be able to provide evidence of holding (at minimum)



a Certificate II in Security Operations.

- Provide a recent police history check - less then one month old (or be prepared to apply for one prior to commencement)

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer service at the highest standard

- Liaising with various stakeholders

- Patrolling

- Incident & Hazard Reporting (through use of Computer based Systems & Verbal Communication)

- Assisting in Security related Incidents

- Provision of First Aid

- Participate in all Required training & Inductions Sessions

Important Skills for the Role:

- Strong understanding of security best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Keen sense of teamwork and a well-developed ability to lead and motivate a team of professional security officers

- Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations and respond effectively.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and analyse potential risks and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify areas for improvement.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
