We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the operations of a brand-new residential development in Dee Why, comprising approximately 280 residential lots, including 60 affordable housing lots

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will play a key role in establishing the building's operational standards, working through the defect liability period and delivering exceptional service to residents, owners and the Strata Plan and BMC Committees.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Manager looking to take ownership of a newly completed asset and help shape its long-term success.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage the delivery of the building management service agreement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, owners and committee members




- Manage contractors and service providers to ensure service standards are achieved
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance programs
- Conduct regular building inspections and identify maintenance requirements
- Monitor building assets and common property areas
- Assist with planning and delivery of capital works projects
- Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Prepare reports and communicate effectively with the Strata Committee and key stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior team members where required

Skills Required:

- A background in Property Management, Facilities Management or trade services
- Experience with BMC structures
- Experience in new developments, defect liability periods and establishing site operational procedures
- Minimum 2 years' residential building management experience
- Strong administration skills
- Customer service focus
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of WHS systems and processes
