We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Quality Control Officer to join our growing Quality team. In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing laboratory testing activities, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with GMP and relevant regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior position within a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of the wider team.

Your Responsibilities will include:

- Perform and oversee routine and complex testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products using a range of analytical techniques.
- Conduct physical and chemical testing to assess product quality, integrity and compliance with relevant pharmaceutical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review, interpret and verify analytical results, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with established specifications.
- Prepare, review and maintain accurate laboratory documentation, including test reports, worksheets, SOPs and analytical records.
- Ensure all laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), relevant regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT) and atypical results,



supporting root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior QC team members, promoting best laboratory practices and high-quality standards.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably within the FMCG sector
- Solid knowledge of GMP requirements, laboratory practices and pharmaceutical quality standards.
- Experience with analytical testing techniques, including physical and chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products.
- Experience investigating OOS/OOT results, conducting root cause analysis and implementing CAPAs.
- Strong understanding of laboratory documentation, SOPs, specifications and quality control procedures.
- Experience with analytical laboratory equipment, including routine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
