Competitive Hourly Rates – Negotiable Based on Experience The Role:

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for producing detailed structural designs, 3D models and technical documentation to support the delivery of a major gold processing project.

Your responsibilities may include

- Producing 3D structural models and detailed drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Completing structural design and drafting work for concrete structures and mining infrastructure.
- Preparing drawings for concrete foundations, footings, slabs and other structural components.
- Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Working closely with structural engineers and other design teams.
- Reviewing drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.




- Identifying and resolving design issues as required.
- Assisting with general design coordination and project deadlines.

About You:

To be considered, you will ideally possess:

- Previous experience as a Structural Designer within mining, resources, engineering or heavy industry.
- Demonstrated experience in concrete structural design and detailing – essential.
- Robust proficiency using Tekla Structures – essential.
- Strong 3D modelling, structural drafting and technical detailing capabilities.
- Experience interpreting structural engineering drawings and project specifications.
- A sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards and engineering design practices.
- For Senior and Lead-level candidates, experience reviewing designs, coordinating deliverables and providing technical guidance to other designers will be highly regarded.
