One that is equitable and prioritises learningand wellbeing.Together we will makeour education system the best it can be.When our children andyoung people thrive, so do our communities and ourstate.About the roleThe EALD and AboriginalLanguages Unit, within the Curriculum Directorate of Curriculum andLearning Division, supports EALD learners to accelerate theirEnglish language development through three key programs: the EALDGeneral Support Program, the Intensive English Language Program,and the EALD Hub Program.The EALD Hub coach isresponsible for supporting sites to engage with the EAL/D Hub –Teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander English as anAdditional Language or Dialect learners' online professionallearning course. The coach supports educators to build theircapabilities to effectively teach Aboriginal EALD learners byfacilitating PLCs and coaching.QualificationsEssential:
