Swan Valley Anglican Community School is a vibrant co-educational school offering high-quality holistic education from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and passionate Secondary English Teacher to join our team for Term 1, 2027.

Reporting to the Head of English, the successful candidate will be a energetic educator with the ability to engage, challenge and inspire students across Years 7 to 12. As a valued member of our collaborative English Department, you will contribute to a culture that fosters a love of literature, critical thinking and academic excellence.

About You

You are a compassionate and organised educator who brings:

· A Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and current TRBWA registration

· Ability to teach ATAR English (an advantage)

· Demonstrated experience teaching English across Years 7 to 12

· Strong knowledge of the Western Australian English curriculum





· Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

· Understanding of assessment strategies and data-informed instruction

· Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.

· Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

· Collaborative approach to curriculum planning and professional development

· Willingness to support the Mission, Vision and Ethos and Core Values of Swan Valley Anglican Community School
